Help us start new chess clubs!

Thanks to your support, we have helped 116 North Carolina schools and community organizations in 46 counties start chess clubs and experience the benefits of chess! We have also helped one school in Virginia and another in Louisiana start chess clubs when leaders of our clubs moved there.

We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your contributions are tax-deductible, and since we are a volunteer-based organization, more of your contributions directly support new chess clubs.

Chess was an integral part of Aditya’s short life, starting from when he was just five years old. His family established this fund through our nonprofit to honor Aditya’s love and passion for chess and to help schools, libraries, and community centers, especially those with financial constraints, start chess clubs. Despite the many benefits of chess and its low cost, very few schools offer chess in their curriculum or as a club. This was one of the challenges Aditya’s parents faced when he was growing up.

To contribute in Aditya’s memory, please donate through one of these choices:

• Donate to the Indermaur Chess Foundation via the PayPal Giving Fund and check the box to share your name and email address. Then please email mark@indermaurchessfoundation.org to designate your gift for the Memorial Fund.
• Mail a check payable to the Indermaur Chess Foundation with the Memorial Fund on the memo line.

We are also eligible for matching gifts from many employers, so if your company offers this benefit, the impact of your donation may be doubled! If your employer uses Benevity, you can donate directly through their portal, or we can email you a receipt to upload there. For other companies, please request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
